Dr. Shadia Koury

Dr. Shadia Koury has a smile and laugh that is infectious. The moment you walk into Chiropractic for Life, you are made to feel at home and part of the family. The healing energy that synchronizes the office makes all who enter relaxed and comfortable before they even receive their adjustment.

A 1999 graduate of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Dr. Koury didn’t stop. She went on to continue her post graduate studies and completed over 360 hours of education in the areas of prenatal and pediatric care. In addition, she also became certified in the Webster’s Technique for In-Utero constraint. She is the first and only Chiropractor in the state of Nevada to become a Diplomate to the Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics in the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice.

For those dealing with allergies, Dr. Koury is highly trained in NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique). NAET is a holistic treatment for the permanent elimination of food and environmental allergies, which may be the cause of a wide range of illness.
Dr. Koury personally benefitted from prenatal Chiropractic care during her two pregnancies. Her two beautiful children, Laith & Layla were born at home and in the water!

Her chiropractic journey has made her realize how essential it is for a mother and her child to have a healthy, natural, easy and joyful pregnancy and birth process. Her passion for adjusting women throughout their pregnancy, during labor and postpartum creates the opportunity to have the best experience possible. And, the same goes for infants who are adjusted within their first hour of life.
Since 2007, she has built a incredible chiropractic healing space that continues to grow and expand through word of mouth and her partnership with care providers in the community.

When she’s not adjusting, you will find Dr. Koury enjoying a variety of activities. She loves spending time with her husband and two children. The true athlete that she is, she’s an avid cyclist, loves to hike and be in the great outdoors.
